Learn basic 3D skills by creating simple massing models using Rhino. This is a helpful place to start, even if you don’t have a lot of site modeling to do.

Making Simple Animations from Geographic Information Using Rhino, Python Scripts, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Getting started with landscape modeling in Rhino

This is a place for videos made in response to questions that just don’t fit anywhere else.

This video Series Describes how to digitize geographic information with Rhino

3DCL (3D City and Landscape) is a plugin for Rhino that facilitates use of geographic information for landscape modeling and visualizing data in Rhino.

Tools for point processes and color gradient creation / application are also included. See tutorials below for additional applications not yet covered in the commands videos.

Developed by Peter Stempel.

Students are encouraged to use and cannibalize these materials to advance their own coding skills.
